well i got out again last night to the fishing dock it is only the second time i have give this spot a go so we had lug , squid , and whole fresh joe's caught on the boat in the morning i had one rod out far and the other about 10 feet out but still in 40 feet plus of water the distance rod did not stop all night with whiting , dogs and huss plus a few nice pollock the rod close in did nothing until about 11 ish and we had our first knock played with it for 10 mins or so and then the reel bar that goes against the rod snapped by the time i got sorted the conger had gone home and was not going to play out so i had to snap off and put a new reel on 40 mins later bang again 20 mins fighting and i had myself a 42 pound conger plus my lost line wire trace and my macky all in all a great night
