pier meet

well we fished the pier last night at llandudno for our february meet
due to it being half term the parking was a nightmare with some members unable to even get a parking spot hope that you guys did ok where ever you ended up
i set up three rods two at distance and a small boat rod straight down in the hope of a conger :)it wasnt to be!
the distance rods had a couple of micro codling all of about 6 inches but quite plump ;D ;D
bait was rag,lug,squid,a bit of mackeral ta gaz
we decided at the top of the tide enough was enough with bites and fish few and far between it was time to call it a night

thanks to all who came and also who came and couldnt park hopefully our next meet will be better

shame for steve and gladiator,they fished between col bay pier and cayley with the same result as us i believe,slow fishing, .
an enjoyable session,not too cold and very little wind.
couple of small codling,rockling and whiting for me.
rockling and whiting for luke.

thanks to everyone for an enjoyable night....was a bit slloowwww on the fishing and got of to a bad start with the parking fiasco .I fished the platform with steve,another steve turned up lol......and fished with us ...i had 4 codling all really small .Was great to see all the regulars again,h,luke and gaz from seapred and wayne steve and myself from here..plus steve unknown and a rum laden scotch fisherman who fished with us.Thanks again lads and will meet gladys another time. ;D
