Follow the road down the hill and you come to a set of traffic lights with a petrol station on your left, keep straight ahead for around ¾ mile. You will then come to another set of traffic lights with a petrol station on your right, Turn right here onto the A228 and follow the road up and bear left at the y junction. Keep on this road for a further 1 mile until you reach the rounabout. Take the 3 exit onto the A289. Follow this road through the tunnel and straight on until you come to a series of traffic lights. Go straight through the first two sets and at the third set take a left. This then follows around to Gillingham pier. Species.Pout, Doggies, Flatfish Tackle.A standard beach caster using 5 – 6 oz leads and a 2 hook flapper will catch most fish that swim in the estuary. Baits.
